Prince Harry has been ordered to pay almost £50,000 to the Mail on Sunday, after he lost an attempt to strike out the newspaper’s defence in an ongoing libel case.
The Duke of Sussex is taking legal action against Mail On Sunday’s publisher over an article about his fight with the Home Office regarding his security arrangements.
The paper argued that the article did not cause serious harm to Prince Harry's reputation but expressed an honest opinion.
The Duke attempted to have the "honest opinion" defence excluded; however, a High Court judge ruled it admissible, and the case will proceed to trial.
The Talk panel joining to discuss Harry’s case is Emma Woolf, Daisy McAndrew, James Max, Ian Collins, and JJ Anisiobi.
Daisy McAndrew says: “His therapist diagnosed Harry with an addiction to hatred of the press.”
