Here's a typical Wednesday for me as a clinical psychology PhD student. I'm in the first year of my five-year program, living in Brooklyn and commuting to Long Island. I have two undergraduate degrees—one in computer engineering and another in psychology. My focus is on becoming a psychoanalytically inclined clinician, and since NYC houses most of the dynamic-oriented programs in North America, I find myself here.
