A to Z STEMI ECG Explanation ( Heart Attack) I Myocardial Infarction (Inferior wall, Anteroseptal)

Hello Friends ! Welcome to another video of ECG series , In this video we will come to know about Major ECG changes that occur during ongoing heart attack or Myocardial Infarction

Myocardial Infarction is mainly associated with ST segment Elevation and Non ST elevation. In both the cases patient present to you with same clinical symptoms. But STEMI is more dangerous than NSTEMI because it involves the whole thickness of the myocardial wall whereas in STEMI there is only subendocardial wall damage occur.

If we talk about ECG changes that occur during STEMI is mainly associated with ST segment, T wave , and Q wave morphology.

I have covered all the aspects of STEMI changes along with its Pathophysiology explained in simple way.

ECG graph of inferior Wall MI, Anteroseptal MI and Anterolateral wall MI have discussed step wise.

STEMI , NSTEMI and Unstable Angina together comes under Acute Coronary Syndrome which is fatal in some cases . With the help of ECG interpretation and Clinical knowledge of the Symptoms and laboratory profile you can save many lives .

This videos is just a guideline to diagnose the MI in ecg, with the advancement of science knowledge is also getting vast , for more precise and accurate diagnosis kindly refer to the books and keep yourself updated
