Hormone Receptor Positive Breast Cancer Treatment:
Hormone receptor positive breast cancer, also known as estrogen or progesterone receptor positive breast cancer, accounts for about 80% of all breast cancer cases. This type of cancer grows in response to the hormones estrogen or progesterone. The latest treatment for hormone receptor positive breast cancer is hormone therapy, which blocks the effects of estrogen or progesterone on cancer cells. This treatment has been effective in reducing the risk of recurrence and increasing survival rates.

Progesterone receptor positive:

Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 (HER2) is a protein that promotes the growth of cancer cells. Around 20% of breast cancer cases are HER2 positive, which means they have a high level of this protein. The latest treatment for HER2 positive breast cancer is targeted therapy, which specifically targets the HER2 protein to stop the growth and spread of cancer cells. This treatment has shown to significantly improve survival rates and reduce the risk of recurrence.

Triple Negative Breast Cancer Treatment:
Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) is a type of breast cancer that does not have estrogen, progesterone, or HER2 receptors. This makes it difficult to treat with hormone therapy or targeted therapy. However, recent studies have shown that chemotherapy, in combination with immunotherapy, can be effective in treating TNBC. This combination has shown to shrink tumors and improve survival rates for patients with TNBC.
