Tenielle is a patient advocate who was diagnosed with colorectal cancer just after her 33rd birthday.

She has spent the past three years living with advanced cancer, and is still undergoing active treatment while continuing to work full-time as General Counsel of an Australian impact investment fund manager, thanks to a supportive employer.

While she’s received exceptional care at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, Tenielle’s story also highlights the impact a lack of research, resources and transparency can have on the patient experience.
