Stuck on how to progress with echocardiography? This 'how to' video will provide you with a protocol to follow, help you identify what you already know, and pinpoint what you might need to develop. After this, you can book a Zoom call with me to talk through your next steps, and/or find out whether you would be a good fit for our training program and supportive echo community: https://calendly.com/veterinaryechocardiography/30min

Or email me: [email protected]

ADDITIONAL RESOURCES:

VIDEO: Only view not shown in this walkthrough was the subcostal view. You can see this view here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Jmy_65v-iM&list=PLxTgmwwhdriEbKu5Y5YFmS9vCLPElpWjP&index=15

VIDEO: Mentioned in the video - the importance of angle of insonation for spectral Doppler: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z8yNNM_LDxc&list=PLxTgmwwhdriEbKu5Y5YFmS9vCLPElpWjP&index=8

Note: A couple of traces would be excluded from my final report, specifically, the traces where the patient was breathing heavily (you might have noticed this during TAPSE, lateral TDI and one pulmonary PW Doppler trace). I left these in the video as the aim is to demonstrate each of the views so that you can incorporate them into your own protocol if you do not already. For help with how to actually measure, interpret and report, let's discuss on Zoom or by email. Contact info above.
