Why did Jer wake up at 4:45am for camp?! I kid you not he was ready! I was thankful for Nurse Amber today as she did his morning care and was his camp buddy for the day. Today we headed to a cheer camp where the campers got a good experience on the mat and more. They did an obstacle course but Jer went his own way. Feel free to peek on camp’s page ever so often for more content of his camp buddies. They had free play once back to the camp site and Jer was in such a good mood. I love seeing him sit at the table to eat with his friends and then they relaxed with a movie. Jer had to leave camp early again today because he has his cardiologist appointment. He wiggles so much, it’s often a challenge to get good readings, but he was calm for the doctor. His heart is a muscle which can be affected by his mitochondrial disease so we check on it every six months or as needed. It’s so hot outside and the van air is struggling a little as the air compressor is going out. Thanks to Aunt Courtney it will be fixed soon because this summer weather is already unbearably hot. Tomorrow will actually be 93 degrees but I’m thankful camp is indoors. This evening we all were wore out and so we skipped vacation Bible school ask any virtual meetings. I cooked for the boys while Jer rested. I have to make sure he gets his rest and know that we can’t do everything. Today we pray that you know when to rest and remember to give yourself grace knowing you can’t push yourself too much to be everywhere. May you learn to cheer others on no matter their ability and encourage them to do their best. May we never forget that God is good yesterday, today, tomorrow and forevermore. ????????
