In this latest episode of the VJOncoAlert Journal Club, Comron Hassanzadeh, MD, MPH, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX, discusses long-term results of hypofractionated, dose-escalated radiation versus conventionally fractionated radiation for patients with localized prostate cancer. While earlier results indicated a benefit in treatment failure for hypofractionated radiation, this advantage is no longer statistically significant at the 13-year mark, though a trend remains.
