Raymond Osarogiagbon, MBBS, FACP, Baptist Cancer Center, Memphis, TN, discusses a prospective study evaluating lung cancer diagnosis rates (LCDR) among patients in lung cancer screening and incidental pulmonary nodule programs across the Mississippi Delta. Compared to the National Lung Screening Trial (NCT00047385), the regional LCDR was markedly higher. These findings suggest that national trial data may underestimate the potential impact of screening in underserved communities. This interview took place during the 2025 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Meeting in Chicago, IL.
