n this deeply personal video, I share my journey of becoming an LVAD (Left Ventricular Assist Device) patient in 2021. It all started with severe muscle pain and two weeks of staying at home, unaware that my arteries were failing. By the time I reached the hospital, it was too late to repair the damage. I became critically ill, slipped into a coma, and woke up four weeks later with an LVAD keeping me alive.

Waking up to a device I had never heard of was overwhelming. It took me nearly six months to truly accept it, understand how it works, and realize that this machine was now a part of my life — and my second chance at it.

Today, I cherish the little things more than ever. I’ve found peace in nature, joy in walking every day, and strength in sharing my story. I hope this video brings awareness, hope, and support to others going through similar experiences.
