Ryan Sullivan, MD, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA, explores findings from the Phase II IMcode001 study (NCT03815058) of autogene cevumeran, an individualized neoantigen-specific mRNA immunotherapy, plus pembrolizumab versus pembrolizumab alone in patients with advanced melanoma. The combination did not significantly improve progression-free survival but was well tolerated. Most patients receiving autogene cevumeran developed neoantigen-specific immune responses, with broader responses associated with trends toward improved survival. This interview took place at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2025 Congress in Berlin, Germany.
