Speaker Biography: Prof. Paul Hofman is a Professor of Pathology at the Nice Sophia Antipolis University, France. His PhD is in Cell Biology (University of Montpellier, France) and he has been the head of the Laboratory of Clinical and Experimental Pathology, Pasteur Hospital, University of Nice Sophia Antipolis, France since 2003.

He obtained an MD at the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis (Nice, France). Research fellows were done at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston (Harvard Medical School) and at the Max Planck Institut (University of Tubingen). Paul Hofman is the head of the department of pathology in Nice, the head of the Nice-Marseille Biobank in France. He is a member of the BBMRI, the ESBB and the BRIF group. He has published more than 300 articles in peer-reviewed journals.
