Is What We Know About Cancer Wrong? (Reacting To Scientific Research)

In this video, I’m sharing my insights and reactions to videos from two leading cancer scientists, Dr. Thomas N. Seyfried and Dr. Angus Dalgleish.

Cancer rates are exploding right now with many causes like environmental toxins, genetics, and poor lifestyle choices.

It’s been known for around 70 years now, through the work of German physician Otto Warburg, that cancer cells FERMENT glucose for energy, and they create acidic byproducts.

This information is now being expanded through Dr. Seyfried, who has discovered that cancer cells also ferment an amino acid called Glutamine.

You can see a clip of Dr. Seyfried at 3:19 of this video.

The fact that cancer cells use the fermentation of both glucose and glutamine to stay alive shows that a change in nutrition, to stop these from being accessible, could help in cancer treatment.**

That means people with low metabolic health (e.g., being overweight, obese, or pre-diabetic) could see an increased risk for these types of cancer.

The way to manage your metabolic health are good lifestyle practices, like:

→ Lower carb diet
→ Daily movement/exercise
→ Strength training 2-3 x per week
→ Getting good sleep (Min. 7 hours each night)
→ Reduce stress
→ Fasting (1 x 24 hr fast per week, or daily intermittent fasting)
→ Good hydration

The second scientist I’m looking at today, Dr. Angus Dalgleish, talks about the use of Vitamin D3 in cancer treatment.

A short clip of Dr. Dalgleish can be seen at 9:56 of this video.
In this clip, Dr. Dalgleish shares his opinion, based on what his research shows, that:
“It is pointless, I believe, treating cancer patients until you’ve got their vitamin D level high…”

And:
“… If you’ve got low Vitamin D, it’s a waste of time giving them immunotherapy.”

These 2 statements alone show how important vitamin D is.

All of your white blood cells (immune cells) have Vitamin D3 receptors and Melatonin receptors.

The normal range for vitamin D3 is:

Adequate: 20-50 ng/ml
Insufficient: 12-19 ng/ml
Deficient: less than 12 ng/ml

A simple Vitamin D3 + Vitamin K2 supplement is an easy way to make sure you maintain adequate levels. 3,000 - 5,000 iU's is safe for most people.

I recommend getting your D3 levels checked a few times per year, particularly over the winter, when you may not be getting much sunshine.

You can also make sure you’re eating foods rich in Vitamin D3, like:

→ Cod liver oil
→ Cold water fatty fish
→ Egg yolks
→ Liver
→ Mushrooms

Reducing stress can also help maintain D3, as increased stress is shown to reduce D3 stores.

Another topic that is connected to cancer is the presence of EMFs (Non native) Electro Magnetic Fields, which may be harmful to health.
