Step into the lab of Dr. Mohit Kumar Jolly, from the Department of Bioengineering, IISc Bengaluru. Their interdisciplinary team works at the intersection of cancer biology and computational systems biology, striving to tackle two formidable challenges in oncology - cancer metastasis and therapy resistance.

The lab focuses on understanding the network-level and dynamic molecular mechanisms that drive these processes. Working closely with experimental collaborators, the team develops predictive, mechanism-based, multi-scale mathematical models to uncover the emergent behaviors of cellular networks responsible for metastasis and drug resistance. The long-term goal: to guide the design of more effective therapeutic strategies that can improve patient outcomes.
