This is a great story about my first immunotherapy session ever - told on the seven year anniversary. As a now stage 4 melanoma patient, I've found that it's better to laugh at life rather than resent it.
Also, I found a picture of the actual moment I was describing, which makes it all the better. Either way, my cancer journey has been riddled with ups and downs, and to be able to tell stories seven years later as a young adult cancer patient is gratifying.
