In today's video, I explore the many ways in which culture impacts couple conflict and communication, inspired by a triad from "The Ultimatum: Queer Love." I address how culture can inform a volatile communication style but does not excuse a hostile communication style. Additionally, I explain how high-context vs low-context cultures, collectivism vs individualism, and spirituality all inform the ways couples handle conflict. Lastly, I provide my perspective on how intercultural couples can constructively communicate despite their differences.
