Pancreatic cancer is the sixth most common cancer and the fourth leading cause of cancer-related death, with a poor overall prognosis. Surgical resection offers the only chance for cure, but the majority of patients present with unresectable disease. Vascular invasion, seen in up to 64% of cases, plays a critical role in determining treatment options and resectability.
