The Semmelweis International Vascular Symposium (SIVS), which was held for the second time after 2023, focused on new developments in the investigation and multidisciplinary management of peripheral vascular disease.
The event took place between May 29 and 31 at Semmelweis University’s Basic Medical Science Center and Városmajor Heart and Vascular Center. The program was organized jointly by the university and the Frank J. Veith International Society (FJVIS), with the participation of numerous internationally renowned experts. The three-day meeting featured plenary sessions, industry symposia, and workshops, where participants had the opportunity to learn new endovascular and ultrasound imaging techniques, as well as a poster competition and a Grand Prix in surgical simulation.
