The backyard breeding of bully and bulldog breeds has gotten out of control, and the ones paying the price are the dogs. These poor pups come to us broken, both inside and out.
People are buying these dogs off the side of the road, from puppy mills, or irresponsible homes, drawn in by how “cute” they look without understanding what it takes to care for them.
And when the medical problems start they abandon them, dumping them on the streets or overcrowded shelters.
Zuul was one of those countless victims of careless breeding and thoughtless ownership. His big, soulful eyes peered out from a body riddled with mange, his skin raw and flaking.
When his condition started to show, his owners decided he wasn’t worth the trouble. They left him behind, discarded like trash, as if his life had no value
Zuul didn’t ask to be born into this world, and he didn’t deserve the suffering he’d endured...
