Improving access to clinical trials remains a constant challenge in developing emerging therapies but a recent trial uses telemedicine to not only complete paperwork and deliver informed consent but also to deliver treatment to patients with a rare type of pancreatic cancer.

Lead investigator Sameek Roychowdhury, MD, professor of medical oncology at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and the Richard J. Solove Research Institute explained what makes this trial unique.
