In 2024, a 70-year-old French man named Jacques Tardif, living in Chiang Mai, began experiencing frequent, painful nighttime urination. An initial check-up at a local hospital revealed an elevated Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) level of 15.05. Although a doctor suspected a tumor, the hospital couldn't perform a biopsy. After researching other options, Jacques chose to have a procedure with Dr. Paiboon Boonyapanichskul at Medpark Hospital in Bangkok.
