I went to see my cardiologist this week for an update on my dilated cardiomyopathy, and it got me thinking about health in a way that might make some of you uncomfortable.
If you're not taking care of your basic health, you're being childish about your own wellbeing
And I don't care if that sounds harsh - your health isn't optional, it's essential.
Being unhealthy takes longer than being healthy. Let that sink in.
This isn't about being perfect or becoming a bodybuilder. It's about showing up for yourself consistently, even when it's not perfect.
What do you think? Am I being too harsh or do we need more honesty about health?
