AI ECG App PM Cardio
Every clinician has faced that moment — staring at an ECG mid-shift, wondering:
Is this subtle ST elevation real… or am I about to overcall it?
Over the past nine months, I’ve been testing PMcardio, an AI-based ECG interpretation tool, to see how it performs in real-world clinical practice — not just in studies.
In this video, I walk through:
• How the app works
• What it analyzes (rhythm, conduction, intervals, ischemia, LV function estimation)
• Real ECG case examples
• Where it adds value — especially in subtle occlusion MI patterns
• Where it falls short
• Pricing and access options
PMcardio is CE-marked in Europe as a Class IIb medical device and has FDA Breakthrough Device Designation in the U.S., but it is not FDA-cleared for clinical decision-making. I use it strictly as decision support — not a decision-maker.
This is not a sponsored video. I was given access to test the organization version, and these are my independent impressions.
If you regularly interpret ECGs — in emergency medicine, hospital medicine, or cardiology — this may be worth understanding.
If you’d like more real ECG case breakdowns, let me know in the comments.
