BPH it is commonly abbreviated as Benim prostatic hypoplasia prostate gland is located in all men just below the urinary bladder on the sides of the posterior urethra so whenever this gland enlarges the patient will have symptoms like decreased urinary flow increased frequency at the same time intermittency where patient say that he want to go urine again and again.and he's passing urine by breaking and at the same time patient may have noia where he's supposed to wake in the night time around 3 to four times which can disturb sleep so the causes coming to the causes there is no specific causes but the most important criteria where patients are prone to BPH is like if there is any significant family history if his father is suffering from the BPH in his age group then there is high likelihood that he may also have the symptoms at the early age at the same time patient is obese where his body mass index is very high these patients are prone for early symptoms with prostate at the same time patient is diabetic which is more prone for infections these patients land in early presentation because of the prostate symptoms so these are the few conditions where we have to take care from the prostate problems coming to the treatment options of the BPH so initially before going for the treatment we have to confirm whether it is BPH or there is any malignant cause so whenever it is a bang cause we have options like most commonly what we have now advanced endoscopic procedures like either it can be bipolar TURP or where we are using lasers like either it can be the holmium laser or tulium laser whenever the patient is not fit for surgery we have other conditions where we put a implant to increase the flow of the urine or increase the diameter or caliber of the urethra by just displacing the prostate loes which is called as lift procedure this condition is usually done in elderly patients who are not fit for surgery but where they have severe symptoms with BPH so these patient we can do under local lip procedure coming briefly either it can be done by endoscopic monopolar bipolar technique or it can be done by laser technique like polium tulium or the advanced procedure when patient is not fit we go for loop procedures .
