Dr. Mina S. Sedrak is an Associate Professor of Medicine at UCLA. He directs the Cancer and Aging Program and co‑leads the Cancer Control and Survivorship Program at the UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center. His research explores how cancer and its therapies accelerate biological aging, with interventions designed to improve long‑term outcomes for survivors. He co‑developed the internationally validated CARG‑BC score, guiding chemotherapy decisions for older women with breast cancer. In 2025, he received the King Hussein Cancer Research Award’s Young Investigator Award, honoring his leadership in geriatric oncology and survivorship science.
