Getting good news in the middle of treatment for a stage 4 metastatic melanoma recurrence is always welcome. As a young adult with cancer, it can be confusing at times - especially when my prognosis is so good relative to the grim diagnosis of stage 4 cancer.
In today's vlog, I talk about how I feel relative to the place I'm at in treatment, how it's natural to be a little uncertain or socially displaced by the short and long-term effects of a cancer diagnosis, and how this is a place that I'm familiar with mental-health-wise, but know that it can be fleeting.
Thanks for tuning in to my stage 4 cancer vlog; it means a lot to me and helps me get through the situation. Please make sure to chare this topic with anyone who might be going through it - I think solidarity via conversation is a great way to cope with being a cancer patient.
