What is TAVR?
TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement) is a minimally invasive procedure that replaces a narrowed aortic valve that fails to open properly (aortic stenosis). The valve is delivered via catheter through the femoral artery, avoiding the need for open-heart surgery.
