Where do you see cardiology as a specialty in 5 - 10 years
Why choose cardiology, what aspects do you enjoy and why
What have you done to prepare for cardiology training
What particular skills or attributes do you have or think you need for cardiology
Why is research important and how have you participated in research
What are your strengths
What are your weaknesses
Talk about.. (publication, audit, research project, QIP)
Talk about a recent paper which you have read and how it changed your practice
Discuss a scenario where you have... shown leadership / dealt with a difficult patient/relative/colleague / shown empathy / made a mistake
Achievement outside of medicine and its relevance to cardiology
How have you shown you can maintain your portfolio / learning from feedback
