Dr. Arvin Narula presented a case involving a patient with multiple admissions for chest pain and a challenging lesion that had resisted previous stenting attempts due to its location and complexity. The patient experienced cardiogenic shock, requiring a balloon pump, and presented with high troponin levels.

The heart team initially opted for guideline-directed medical therapy (GDMT) to stabilize the patient, allowing for the ejection fraction to recover. After stabilization, the PCI procedure was successfully performed without the need for additional support. Dr. Narula also discusses his coined therapy- Rota-tripsy!
