A patient presented with syncope and sudden severe upper chest and neck pain. No back pain. ECG showed transient STEMI. It turned out that the cause was an ascending aortic dissection that was missed until she got to the cath lab. We discuss signs, complications, and treatment of ascending aortic dissection.
