Recorded on 3/13/2021
50-year-old female with stage II EGFR mutant NSCLC of left lung s/p neoadjuvant chemo, RT and pneumonectomy with a new RUL nodule
Summary:
- If contralateral lesion, would first consider re-biopsy if rapid growth or other unusual features.
- If solitary recurrence of EGFR+ adenocarcinoma:
- Could consider treating osimertinib with option of additional consolidation.
- If good response to osimertinib (e.g., 4cm - 2cm), could consider additional radiation therapy.
- Would not favor additional surgery in this patient.
